Meezan Enterprises
Operates a Public Customs Bonded Warehouse in Karachi and provides storage and cargo handling services subject to the following terms and conditions.
1. Storage & Warehousing
All goods stored at Meezan Enterprises shall be subject to applicable customs laws, regulations, and warehouse procedures. Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their goods and documentation.
2. Customs Compliance
All imported goods must comply with applicable customs requirements. Customers are responsible for completing required customs formalities, duties, taxes, permits, and other government requirements.
3. Customer Responsibility
The customer must ensure that all information and documents provided to Meezan Enterprises are accurate and complete. Any consequences arising from incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information shall remain the customer's responsibility.
4. Prohibited & Restricted Goods
Goods that are prohibited by law or cannot legally be stored under applicable customs regulations will not be accepted. Restricted goods may require prior approval and appropriate documentation.
5. Storage Charges
Storage, handling, loading, unloading, and other applicable charges will be payable according to the agreed rates and terms. Additional charges may apply for special handling or services.
6. Cargo Release
Goods will be released only after completion of applicable customs procedures and submission of the required authorization and documentation. Meezan Enterprises reserves the right to withhold release where legal, customs, or payment requirements remain outstanding.
7. Security & Liability
Meezan Enterprises takes reasonable measures to maintain a secure warehouse environment. However, liability for loss or damage shall be subject to applicable laws, agreed terms, and the circumstances of each case.
8. Insurance
Customers are responsible for arranging appropriate insurance coverage for their goods where required or considered necessary. Warehouse storage does not automatically constitute insurance coverage for stored goods.
9. Damage & Inspection
Goods may be inspected by authorized customs authorities or other competent authorities as permitted by law. Meezan Enterprises shall not be responsible for delays resulting from inspections, customs procedures, government actions, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
10. Payment
All applicable charges must be paid within the agreed payment period. Meezan Enterprises may suspend services or take other lawful measures where outstanding amounts remain unpaid.
11. Changes to Terms
Meezan Enterprises reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions when necessary to reflect changes in applicable laws, regulations, or business procedures.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws and regulations of Pakistan.
